Stainless steel lasts longer is and is more resistant to corrosion than the Galvanised Steel version of this product that we also offer through our store.
This product will last a long time and will provide brilliant cover behind vents, airbricks and other gaps and soffits.
The mesh specification is:
1/4″ Stainless Steel Welded Mesh – 0.7mm Wire – 5mm Aperture
Cut this as required to fill gaps, nooks and crannies. This is used by professionals and the general public alike. It’s simply a good product for the task and also low cost.
No fixings are included. Use a strong adhesive (silicone) or simply screws to attach it as required.
304 is the industry standard woven wire mesh stainless steel grade.
SS304 has a good oxidation resistance at roughly 870°C to 925°C depending on use and environment. We recommend 316 if you require a higher resistance to heat.
SS304 can be used for many applications. It is often found in kitchens, wine and beer making equipment, chemical containers, architectural panels and quarry screens.
Composition – C 0.08, Mn 2.0, Si 0.75, P 0.045, S 0.030, Cr 20.0, Ni 10.5, N 0.10

This range of strong mesh materials have been cut down on our slitting machine to smaller widths. These small widths are ideal for use inside your guttering.

In 2008 Locker Wire Weavers launched The Mesh Company to bring our enormous range of wire mesh products to the general public for the first time. Previously wire mesh was only available for trade customers.
We continue to extend our range, and now proudly offer many forms of mesh and metal products for the best possible prices. We specialise in woven wire mesh. As a group we work closely with architects and designers to develop ground-breaking new applications for our multifunctional range of materials. We also offer state of the art fabrication and engineering for projects of all sizes.
Strong ties with the Warrington community continue to be at the very core of our business. We are proud to invest in the training and developing our staff of all levels in line with the traditions set by Thomas Locker, who founded our group 150 years ago when he invented the electronic loom.
